You Don’t Need Magical Baking Powers To Make This Delish Cake!

My Mom bakes amazing cakes. Actually, she bakes just about anything, without even using recipes, and they always turn out so delicious you’d think they were from a pastry shop! I, on the other hand, can only bake bread and dinner rolls without a recipe. For anything else, I need to follow strict instructions – and even then things tend to go wrong quite often. I don’t know why! I’ve blamed my oven, I’ve blamed the flour, I’ve blamed the recipe creators… but eventually I’m going to have to admit it’s probably me.

This recipe seemed simple enough for me to make, so I gave it a try. I was prepared for another disaster, so you can imagine how happy I was when the cake turned out heavenly! That streusel topping is out of this world and it took all of my will power not to eat the whole thing right then and there.

When you think of wine you think of a nice glass with dinner or as an enjoyable way to unwind after work. But this recipe just takes wine to a whole new level and you are just going to love it! Make this on a lazy Sunday afternoon to enjoy after dinner. All the ladies will be so envious of you!

Do you love wine? Do you love ice cream? Well now you can make the most delicious dessert using wine. This actually comes out as ice cream and not an ice or gelato as you think it might. This would make an impressive dessert at a bridal shower, baby shower or summer picnic. Or just whip up a batch and save it for an indulgent treat for yourself. Try using some different varieties of wines to see what you like best. Some suggestions would be Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot noir, Zinfandel and Sangiovese.

These adorable and delicious little cookies are traditionally made for the Jewish holiday of Purim. The story goes that the villain of the story, named Haman, wore a tricorne hat. However, the good news these delicious cookies don’t require you to be Jewish or have a holiday to make these cookies. These cookies are made with a brown butter dough flavored with vanilla beans. They’re filled with a hazelnut brown butter and apricot jam, then the dough is pinched up to form the tricorne shape. Bake them, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!

These little cookies are perfect for a little treat. They’re just big enough for a couple of bites, so they’re perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth. They’re such perfect little cookies that are great for get-togethers, snacks, holidays, parties or just as a regular dessert.
