There is just something so comforting about a good Twix bar. I love the combination of the cookie with the caramel and then topped with the delicious milk chocolate over the top. It is so creamy and utterly delicious. Another variation of this that I like is the Twix bar ice cream. I usually find these in individual packs at my local CVS so if I am ever craving it, I get in there and buy one to eat on the spot. I gave up on buying a pack for the house, because I used to go through all of those in one day!
I love a good Twix recipe because it reminds me of my childhood. Every time we would go grocery shopping with my mom and behave, she would buy the big Twix pack that came with four bars and we would each (my two sisters, my mom and I) have one. It was a good motivation to behave and be good while at the supermarket. Well, recently as I was browsing Pinterest I found this awesome recipe for an easy to make Twix cookie. I knew I had to give it a try and with every bite, it took me back to my childhood.
