This Sloppy Joe Casserole recipe is a classic, hearty American meal, made into an easy (and easy-to-eat) form. And you can put it together in half an hour. Imagine that, dinner ready in less than 45 minutes without a huge mess to clean up afterward. Genius! More time for you to just sit back and relax after a busy weekday.
I did like sloppy joes as a kid. (Hey, some meals just transcend gender.) I do remember there being VERY messy, though, and that is probably why they were only an occasional rather than regular meal for me, growing up. Turns out, you can have all of that great flavor in a much cleaner casserole form.

Quick Tip: I sometimes toss in a can of sweet corn to give this casserole a boost of texture.
