This pumpkin spice layer cake is tall and proud.

I used to be afraid to even attempt to make a layer cake but I soon realized what I was missing out on when I made this delicious pumpkin spice and walnut buttercream confection. It wasn’t hard to make at all. Time-consuming? Yes. Hard? No.

Even though the fall season is almost over and Christmas is heartily upon us you can still make a delicious pumpkin spice cake. I always try to have something with pumpkin in it during my family’s Christmas dinner. I think the winner shall be this cake.
