I am one of those people who think that when you put cheese in any average dish, it will transform into at least something tolerable or something completely superb. Yes, I am a cheese person! I put cheese in almost everything, which is why one of my favorite home-cooked meals is Macaroni and Cheese.

If you were to attend one of our family reunions, you would notice one of my parents’ most favorite ways of embarrassing me is telling everyone about my childhood misbehavior. They will start with how chubby a kid I was and then end it with a tale of how they used to bribe me into going to school by promising Macaroni and Cheese for dinner. With the way I am able to eat half of a baking pan, I have to grudgingly agree that it might be true.

Bertolli, dinner, dough, eat, Fleischmann's active dry yeast packet, Gold medal bread flour, green peppers, Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, Kraft cheese, lukewarm water, marinara sauce, mozzarella, olive oil, parmesan, Pearls black olives, pie, pizza, pizza roll, recipe, slice, zucchini

Thinking about heading out to your local pizza joint tonight? Forget about it! You can easily knock together a few ingredients for the best pizza that’s ever touched your tongue. Not only is this pizza packed with flavorful spices, cheese, and veggies, it’s neatly compacted into a loaf, making it the best creation since sliced bread…er…pizza rolls. Sprinkle a little parmesan cheese or, “Farmer John cheese,” as my kids used to call it when they were little, and perfection is made.

This pizza is definitely not your ordinary, every-day slice of pie but what fun is ordinary anyway? You literally have the option to combine any type of vegetables that you please to this wondrous creation of fresh dough, zippy sauce, and stringy cheese. Another great thing about eating your pizza in roll-form is the lack of mess. All the good stuff is hidden within the walls of the pizza dough. Genius!

Bertolli, carrots, celery, Domino, Egg-land's Best, Hood, Italian bread, Kraft, Kraft cheese, Land O Lakes, McCormick, Mezzetta, Mezzetta olives, muffuletta, olives, Philadelphia, sandwich

JUST when you thought the city was safe, here comes the monster of all sandwiches!

I lived in the North End of Boston for years, and boy do they know how to make the best Italian fare!

Sopressata is an Italian dried Salami, but it can be substituted for any type of Salami you have on hand.

You don’t need to be Italian, to experience the sheer joy of the Muffuletta!

This recipe takes about 90 minutes and serves 4-6 people, and as Italians go…these portions are large!

The olive-vegetable spread is key to the flavors of this dish….I wouldn’t recommend just using mayo.

I also added a little lettuce and pickle to my sandwich, as I love an incredible crunch, with ever bite.

Aunt Jemima, Aunt Jemima Maple Syrup, butter, egg sandwich, Egg-Land's Best eggs, eggs, Grilled Cheese, Kraft, Kraft cheese, Land O Lakes, maple bacon egg sandwich, Oscar Mayer, oscar mayer bacon

I’m one of those people that loves Thanksgiving for the next day sandwiches, packing everything from a meal, in between two slices.

So if you’re anything like me, you’re gonna love this breakfast sandwich!

Sweet maple flavors lace this deliciously decadent egg and earthy bacon sandwich.

Trust me folks when I say, not only is this recipe incredibly easy, it’s a surefire way to get the family to be quiet for five minutes….while they devour it!

This recipe takes about 45 minutes and serves 4 people, so you may want to double up if you have a bigger family.

My husband doesn’t like maple syrup, so if you have a food baby in the house, like him (tee hee) than you can simply omit that part from your recipe.

You can also sprinkle some powdered sugar on the top, to garnish.  Serve with a side of ketchup.

Our friends at the Food Network, had this to say about the recipe:

“Unable to decide between breakfast and lunch? This sweet and smoky sandwich satisfies both cravings. To speed the process, heat and cook using two skillets at the same time.”

artichokes, caprese, Caprese Lasagna, Half and Half, Hood, Kraft cheese, Kraft parmesan cheese, Perdue chicken, Philadelphia cream cheese, Sun-dried tomatoes, White chicken lasagna

Everyone knows how to make a lasagna, but what if we flipped the switch and added some creamy goodness, to the mix?

If you’ve ever been a fan of creamy, cheesy, Chicken Alfredo (please don’t ask me, it’s embarrassing what I would do for some at any moment) than THIS is your dish!

This feeds plenty for a family, and is pretty filling, so think light, if you want to serve up dessert afterwards.

I served this with a side of crusty garlic bread, because I couldn’t resist!

I’d also consider adding a simple side salad (Caesar is the best).

This recipe takes about 25 minutes and serves 6-8 people, so there’s plenty to go around!

My husband added a little bit of bacon to the top, and it was phenomenal (but he can be strange) 😉

I also sprinkled fresh basil all over the top, as I love the aroma it leaves on my hands.

Our friends at The Cookie Rookie had this to say about this recipe:

“Where there’s cheese, there should be basil.  That’s another fact.  Fresh basil for sure.  Oh and tomatoes.  It doesn’t matter what type of tomatoes, but they always go well with cheese and basil.  Sun-dried tomatoes, roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes…yep.  Any will work.  Like I said, it’s just a fact.”
