BBQ Pork, Billy Bee honey, breakfast, Chinese rose wine, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, food, food coloring, garlic, gastro, ginger, Kikkoman hoisin sauce, Lee Kum Kee dark soy sauce, Lee Kum Kee light soy sauce, Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce, lunch, maltose, peppercorn, Planters peanut oil, pork belly, recipe, sesame oil

Very rarely do I get really excited about a new recipe but using pork belly for Chinese BBQ pork is genius.

This Chinese BBQ pork recipe is pretty authentic as well, not that they are serving it in China but Americanized Chinese food goes back to the 1800’s and has a pretty cool history. I may go over it more in depth on another post.

Back to using pork belly for BBQ pork. I wish I had thought of this, pork belly is the perfect conduit for all this marinade and spice. So if you really want to impress some dinner guests or you family you have to try this!

Argo cornstarch, bacon, bacon wrapped popper, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, basil leaves, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, Bertolli Olive Oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, breakfast, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, cooking, cookware, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, dinner, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, garlic, gastro, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, green finger chilis, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Hunt's diced tomatoes, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, Kraft Cheddar cheese, land o lakes butter, Libby, lunch, McCormick spices, Morton salt, onion, Pam cooking oil spray, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Swanson chicken stock, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

Well we know we cannot go wrong with bacon, cheese and chili peppers, so here is a fresh take on a popper. This is a very simple and easy recipe but don’t let that fool you!

Something about the use of a pepper other than a jalapeno and the way these are constructed make them a more attractive appetizer in my opinion. Or maybe it’s just that they taste so oh-my-goodness-delicious! Beware – if you’re making these for a family gathering, you should probably make two or three batches. They will still be gone in the blink of an eye!

My picky eater does not enjoy spicy foods or any kind of peppers at all. That’s why my jaw dropped when he wanted to have a taste – and he actually ate three of these in one go! If you knew this little guy, that would be your proof that these poppers are totally scrumptious! But since you don’t, you’re just going to have to take my word for it – until you give these a try yourself!
