The Only Chicken Soup Recipe You’ll Ever Need!

Many people feel that soups are perfect for the colder months of the year. In fact, so do I – nothing will keep you warm better than a hot bowl of your favorite, spicy soup! There are times, though, when I would rather be somewhere where it’s actually warm, so I wouldn’t have to eat soup just because I can’t feel my fingers… But since I still haven’t won the lottery, I can’t go on a vacation all the time. Instead, I came up with an idea! Why don’t I make a soup that is common some place warm, a place where I would like to travel some day?

Now, there are hundreds of places on this planet I would like to visit! It was a bit difficult to try and narrow the recipes down at first, so I decided to focus on Asia, since I’ve never been there. I’ve had plenty of Chinese and Japanese food so I ruled those out this time. That’s when I came across this soup recipe!

My Grandma Said This Was The Tastiest Soup She Had Ever Tried

Have you been trying to find a new, exotic soup recipe that’ll knock your socks off? Here it is!

This incredible coconut shrimp soup will have you singing its praises after the first spoonful. It is filled with beautiful Asian flavors; that spicy ginger, lovely lemongrass and of course, the coconut to bring it all smoothly and softly together. Whether you like your Asian food on the spicier or the milder side, this is the perfect recipe for you. Just adjust the amounts to your taste and this will become your number one soup recipe in no time!

Look for the Asian aisle in your grocery store to find all the ingredients. If you’re having a hard time finding fresh lemongrass, you can always go with paste. This is a dish that will do beautifully on its own, without any sides (unless you really want to make something), and it will definitely keep you warm on a cold winter day!
