I think I have already mentioned that my boyfriend has a lot of brothers. Here’s a story about another one of them. Levi is two years older than my boyfriend and four years older than the youngest, but he’s still a bit childish. Don’t get me wrong. Levi is kind and he grew up to be a gentleman, but he still hasn’t found his calling. He works different jobs because he doesn’t know what he wants in life. He also hasn’t had a steady girlfriend in years because he is not sure if he can commit to anyone and he doesn’t want to cause anyone pain because of his indecisiveness. He visits us sometimes and stays over so he has become close to me. He’s like the older brother that I never had since my real brother is two years younger than me. I am always worried about him and hopes that one day, he will find what he is looking for.

I remembered that one time when he stayed over and cooked for us. He decided that it would be shepherd’s pie for dinner. However, we didn’t have potatoes available at the moment so he had to make do with the sweet potatoes that were on the vegetables rack. His accidental sweet potato shepherd’s pie tasted great. What a sweet accident, isn’t it? I hope such a “sweet accident of fate” would happen to him too. And soon.

The Easiest And Most Delicious Way To Make Salisbury Steak!

When it comes to comfort foods, Salisbury Steak is always a recipe that comes to mind. You can’t go wrong with tender ground beef patties smothered in a brown gravy sauce and mushrooms. I think if King Arthur did indeed eat Salisbury Steak, he would have used this recipe. The only question is, what would he have used for a Crock Pot? Perhaps a copper kettle a dragon’s fiery breath. This recipe is awesome because you get to have a reason to eat mashed potatoes and gravy!

What could be better than that? Maybe, winning the lottery but that’s about it. This recipe for slow cooker Salisbury Steak is super easy to make and leaves you with a fantastic supper to nosh on. You only need a few basic ingredients and your Crock Pot to get started.

I can remember my mother making Salisbury Steak for supper a lot when I was a kid. Although her recipe was amazing there always seemed to be quite a bit of steps involved. Not this recipe. You have the convenience of using the slow cooker. Yippee!

Pot roast is an American staple meal that we’ve all grown to love. I remember my mother making a roast ever Sunday. As we walked into the house after church, you could smell the savory flavors wafting through the front door. It was amazing!

One of the greatest things about making a pot roast is how incredibly easy it is to prepare. All you need is your trusty slow cooker, a beef roast, and your favorite veggies like carrots, potatoes, and onions. Place everything into the cooker and set it to low. Within a few hours, you have a complete dinner ready to eat!

And if, for some strange reason, you should feel like you’re getting a little bored of the dish – just use different kinds of veggies on the side and your meal will have fresh new flavors again. Although, I must say I have never known anyone to grow tired of pot roast! Even my picky eaters devour it so fast that I hardly get a bite of it myself.
