What a great idea for any party or family gathering! I think, if I had been introduced to the great flavor of pumpkin this way, I would have warmed up to the idea of pumpkin-based desserts a lot sooner than I did. And hey, you only need half a dozen ingredients to make these festive, low-hassle treats. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be making these again. I brought these to my nextdoor neighbor’s daughter’s birthday party, and soon all the Moms were begging for the recipe!

Quick tip: Let the pumpkin puree dry on a cloth before adding it – this way you’ll make sure the treats won’t turn out too moist.

A Simple Way To Make A Quick Dinner That Your Whole Family Will Love!

This Sweet and Sticky One-Pot Chicken Dinner is a hearty, family-friendly meal, great for people who enjoy the sweeter side of the sweet and savory flavor combination. It is gluten-free, and thanks to the use of honey, molasses, and maple syrup, it keeps the glycemic index on the low side without compromising on the sweet flavor. How’s that for a perfect meal, in every way! Another great thing about this recipe is that you don’t have to worry about slaving away in the kitchen.

There are two basic ways to get little ones who are a bit picky about their vegetables to eat a good helping of them. One way is to add cheese; the other is to crank up the sweetness. This recipe goes with the latter option, and it puts everything together in the form of a yummy sweet and savory one-pot meal, making it all that much more convenient for the cook under pressure.

These sugar cookies with pink buttercream frosting look beautiful and taste as great as they look. This family-friendly recipe is very simple to put together (and once you have the dough made and chilled a bit, rather quick to bake, too).

If you want a yummy baked dessert treat that is easy enough for the little ones to “help” you make, this is perfect for that. Of course, if they are anything like how I was as a child, you may have to make a bit of extra batter to allow for generous licking of spoons and bowls (or make the cookies just a bit smaller), but hey, no harm in that, right?

Bring a creative, savory pasta dish to your dinner table in only 35 minutes with this Chipotle Bacon Mac & Cheese recipe. Bacon just makes everything taste better, and sharp cheddar and a panko bread crumb topping bring everything together rather nicely.

No, there’s nothing ordinary about this mac & cheese recipe. Not that there is anything wrong with ordinary or basic mac & cheese; the homemade version is truly delicious. But particularly when I am looking for something quick to make for a full dinner, I enjoy combining a few basic things to make a filling and satisfying main dish. This recipe does just that. Call it macaroni and cheese that has been upgraded from side dish to delicious and savory main course.

This Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Casserole is about as family-friendly a recipe that you can get, and by the time you finish saying the name, you can have it made; prep and cook it in 35 minutes! If you need a good but easy, and quick, meal for a hectic midweek dinner, this is your go-to option.  I happen to really like the mix of textures here, and doesn’t everything go down better with a little cheese and butter?  Yum, yum!

I never had a problem with broccoli at any age (I guess that I am a bit weird, haha), but if your little one is a bit fussy about eating green veggies, mixing them this way, with cheese and rice, is a good way to get them to eat some. I have had to deal with some seriously picky eaters, but this has always been one of their favorite dishes!

Need a yummy no-bake dessert for your next family gathering or potluck?  Grab some of your favorite childhood snack items and make this fantastic No-Bake Snickers Cheesecake!  The hardest part will be waiting on it to set in the refrigerator and trying not to eat it too soon. How about that, a cheesecake made easy?  And if you like Snickers, you’ll love the textures and flavors of this one!

Yes, there is some chopping and mixing involved, but don’t worry; it’s nothing overly complicated.  And the closest thing that you’ll have to do to actual baking is warming up some gelatin in a bowl of water for about half a minute. I went a bit heavy with the caramel on top and left out the fudge sauce; if you prefer, you may do exactly the opposite or have an equal helping of both on there.  Whatever your exact preference there, you’ll have a lovely crunchy, sweet, and creamy dessert.

These Peanut Butter Cookie-Cupcakes bring all of those beloved childhood treats together in one delicious dessert. They’re really quick and easy to make.  Your children will love them, and so will you!  I need to warn you, though – they will be gone in a heartbeat, so make sure you’ll grab some for yourself first!

I loved Reese’s peanut butter cups when I was growing up (still do, actually – and who wouldn’t).  I think that I was most excited when I saw them as part of my trick-or-treating haul at Halloween, but they were great any time of year.  How can you go wrong with that peanut butter and chocolate combination, and how can you make it even better?  Put it in this recipe.  It’s seriously yummy!
