Will You Be Making This Creamy Cake For Your Sunday Brunch?

Are you tired of that same old cake recipe you keep making year after year, for all the special occasions? I know I was, and that’s why I was so happy when I came across this awesome recipe over at Kitschen Cat. This is a recipe that combines flavors from three of my favorites; Tres Leches cake, coconut cake and lime cake.

Sounds like it’s going to be complicated, right? Wrong! This cake is very easy to put together, which makes it perfect for parties and those times when you’re serving a larger crowd. Making two of these is not going to take much longer than making just one of them – and I guarantee you’re going to hope you had some leftovers!

I intend to serve this for Thanksgiving meal this year, and probably many times over the holidays! However, since you only need a few ingredients for this and they are pretty easy on your wallet, I’m sure I will be making this year ’round, “just because”!

Who Would Have Thought It Was This Easy To Make!

What do you do when you suddenly realize you’ve just agreed to hosting a huge group of women for a fundraising Bible study event at your church? Well, you go a little crazy at first but then you start organizing things like a mad woman. I’m sure, if any of these ladies had seen me at this point, they never would have chosen me for the job!

I thought I had everything covered already when it hit me; what was I going to serve with coffee? I was literally the only one available for the preparations, so I needed a dessert that was super easy to make for a crowd. I called my mother and all of my sisters until I suddenly remembered my aunt serving this incredible tiramisu for last Thanksgiving.

She gave me the recipe and an hour later I was standing in my kitchen, ready to make a test batch. You think I’d serve a dessert I hadn’t tried making myself yet? Not a chance! Fortunately it turned out amazing, and it was extremely easy to double (actually, triple) the ingredients for my event.
