I think that M & M cookies are quite possibly one of my favorite varieties of the circular treat of happiness aka “cookies.” I love how colorful they look sitting on a pretty plate waiting to be eaten. I sometimes make  a batch of these cookies so that my children have a sweet surprise to come home to after school. Talk about a yum fest! I never thought that these cookies could get any better than they already are and then i discovered browned butter. Roll out the red carpet, strike up the band, and pour the champagne.

You wouldn’t believe how great these cookies are if I told you so you ar just going to have to try them out for yourself. One good thing about  browned butter M & M cookies is how easy they are to make. There’s no fancy footwork here, folks.

Quick Tip: You can bake at 350 for a little longer if you don’t want the cookies to be quite so brown. (I like brown cookies!) – Ree Drummond

I love heavy, creamy, buttery casseroles – I really do, but the older I get, the more I realize how all the extra calories are affecting my body… This Lighter Tuna Casserole is a nice twist on an American classic and makes for a great family meal.  Serve baked, with just an hour of combined cook and prep time, or just serve tossed in about 40 minutes.

A casserole is a great go-to if you want something for a simple and fairly quick family meal that yields plenty of leftovers.  Mother often made a batch of tuna casserole for those hectic midweek school nights.  I enjoyed it then and still make it for myself often.  When I came across this lightened recipe, I was eager to try it to see how it compared to the original, and I was very satisfied with the results.
