Chicken is a staple meat in my household. My family loves eating it and I love preparing it. With being such a versatile meat, chicken can be incorporated into a variety of recipes.
From baked chicken to chicken casseroles, you can use it in just about anything. I was just about to prepare a chicken slow cooker meal the other day when I came across this mouthwatering recipe for butter cream chicken over at The Cooking Actress. Plans shifted at that point. I put my trusty slow cooker away for another day and set out to prepare the masterpiece that I saw before me.
Now, if you are on a diet or trying to fit into a pair of pants for a special occasion, you may want to skip over this recipe for now. It’s loaded with fat and calories but they are the good kind! Anyway, all joking aside, this chicken dish is a very fat laden meal. However, it tastes dang delicious and you won’t be sorry that you made it. My husband and kids love this stuff. And guess what?
