Who Would Have Thought You Could Make Nutella At Home?

If there’s one thing in this world I can’t live without, it has to be Nutella. Apart from my husband, of course – although I would have a hard time deciding between the two, haha! The world famous concoction is so popular that you can probably get it pretty much anywhere you travel these days. And I’ve heard people refer to all kinds of chocolaty and nutty spreads by that name! I have to say, to me Nutella is one of a kind – but this homemade copycat recipe comes pretty darn close!

I was so surprised when I first tried this. I wasn’t expecting this to have such an authentic flavor that even I, the biggest Nutella fan in the world, might not know the difference between this and the original.

The best thing about this is that I can start experimenting with all kinds of special flavors. You only need to tweak the recipe a tiny little bit, to get completely new aromas. That is, of course, if you’re willing to make changes to the real thing. I intend to give plenty of tweaks a try – but for now I’m just happy that I can make my own Nutella and be 100% sure of what goes in it!

You Need To Try These Crepes Today

Don’t you just love easy-to-make recipes that leave room for variation and imagination? I certainly do, and this is one of my favorites!

Whether you’re looking for a quick, savory snack or a fancy dessert for your next dinner party, these crepes will do the trick. You only need a handful of very inexpensive ingredients to make these, and you can fill them up with anything and everything your loving heart desires. Salty or sweet, it’s up to you!

I believe I was in my twenties when I tried these for the first time. These should not be mistaken for pancakes! I had these in a small, family-owned restaurant and I instantly fell in love with the flavors. Since I couldn’t make up my mind, I tried one with a cream cheese and shrimp filling, and another one with fresh peaches, cinnamon and whipped cream. Oh my goodness, I was in heaven!

I didn’t think it was possible to make these at home – well, to be honest with you, I thought it would be way too difficult for my skills. But I was wrong! It’s actually super simple! If you have a skillet in your kitchen, you’re good to go!

Impress your friends and family with this delicious poke cake.

Snickers is my favorite chocolate bar.  They have everything I absolutely love: chocolate, caramel, crunchy deliciousness and loads of nuts in it.  That is my favorite type of chocolate bar, for sure! The best part is how much of everything there is.  It is gooey and when you bite the caramel, it just oozes out.  I mean, it really cannot get any better than something like that. But, I cannot always have an entire chocolate bar whenever I want my sugary Snickers fix. And honestly, I like to switch things up and keep it fun, so I like to make it a bit different.

I have been looking for a fun way to incorporate all of my favorite elements in Snickers into a great dessert.  Now, that could be a cookie or cupcake, and I have made both of those.  Each of those is different and amazing, but still was not what I was looking for.

After looking a bit further, I found that the best thing would be to make a poke cake.  So I searched Pinterest and found an absolutely amazing recipe that is full of everything I love in poke cake form.  I knew I had to give it a try immediately and I did.

It was one of those nights when it was quiet in the house.

With four teenagers running around back and forth and in and out, that’s not something that happens very often. They were all off to friend’s houses for the night, so me and the hubby had the house to ourselves. We sat and just enjoyed the peace for so long, I forgot to get up and get dinner started. I didn’t even actually think about cooking at all. I considered maybe going out to eat, but I didn’t want to leave the peace at the house. We had to enjoy it while we could. That’s when I remembered a recipe that I wanted to try.

I jumped up and went to the kitchen to get to work. I knew it wouldn’t take long to toss together.

The longest wait we had was while it was chilling out in the fridge. I left the tomatoes out of the salad and just added some in on my own portion. It was delish! I’m just glad we didn’t have to share with the kids… shhhh!

Easy And Quick To Make This Mac Salad Recipe Is No-Fuss!

Every Memorial Day weekend, we always have what seems like ten different events to attend. Some of them we don’t have to bring anything, but there are others where the request is to bring in a dish to pass. I don’t mind doing my share of the cooking, especially when I’m showing up with a family of five. With a couple toddlers running around though, I don’t always have the time in my schedule to make a big fancy dish. So, when I found this recipe on Group Recipes in knew it was going to be perfect for me.

This recipe has so few ingredients and only two steps to put it together. When we got invited to our first party last year, I pulled these instructions out and got to work. It went together so fast, I don’t think my kids even noticed that I was in the kitchen and not playing with them like I usually do on the weekends.

I was nervous to see how this was going to go over, but it was a huge hit. I followed the amounts exactly as they were listed and the bowl got emptied right out. So, for the next party, I had to double it up. It went over well at that event too. It’s my new go-to for all our summer events.
