Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna? Yep!
I absolutely love lasagna. Everyone who knows me knows that. I am a pasta addict and I cannot go back. I love everything carbs, red sauce, and cheese. I mean, I think I have pasta virtually every day of the week. Whether it is my whole wheat version during Monday through Friday (gotta watch that waist line, ya know!), or the full on white pasta I eat at restaurants over the weekend, I am always experimenting with new pasta recipes to fill up my day and make me oh so happy. The other day, my husband had a huge craving for chicken cordon bleu.
That was the very first meal I learned to make when we got married and it has become a special occasion dinner. I did not really feel like making it since it was definitely not a special occasion- on the contrary, we had just gotten back from Johnny’s soccer practice and Ally had singing lessons at church later.
But I figured, why not? I will please him. So I got to making it and noticed a bag of ravioli that was going to expire this week so I started cooking it, too. Next thing you know, I have created the best recipe I have ever made!
