One thing I love about winter is the amount of slow cooker recipes I get to make.  It is so simple to throw together a few of my favorite ingredients before going to work or getting my day started and then come home to a deliciously smelling home and a crock pot full of an amazing meal for my family and I to share.  It is just such a comforting feeling, and I absolutely love it which is why I always go back to it and try to get my Slow Cooker working more often.

One thing that I love is a good slow cooker soup. There is just something so delightful and comforting when you see a soup that is ready to be enjoyed and you can just serve it right up without having to worry as much about anything.  It is easy, and so great for a busy mom or grandma who had a crazy day at work or with the kids.  It is also a wonderful way to greet your hard-working man who has spent the day out providing for the family.  Whatever occasion you choose to make this for, I am sure it will be appreciated.
