This Recipe Will Make You Sing Its Praises

Yes, you heard me right! That is 2 cents, as in $0.02! And no, I’m not trying to pull your leg. These dinner rolls really are that inexpensive, and most definitely as delicious or even better than the ones you’re used to picking up from the nearby deli. Hold on now, I can hear you mumbling… “How is that even possible”, you ask! I’ll tell you how; just use this recipe! You’ll be amazed.

I have been baking my own bread and rolls for years now. When I was young, my Mom used to bake every Saturday. She literally spent the whole day making all kinds of bread, cinnamon rolls and delicious pies. Then she would freeze them and we didn’t have to buy a single loaf of bread for a whole week. Of course this was a great way to save money, but the fact is, homemade bread was just so much more delicious than what they had at the store!

Dinner Plans For Sunday? Here’s A Great Option!

When was the last time you made roast? I don’t know if it’s just me, but I tend to cook roast only if it’s a very special occasion.

It’s not that I don’t like it – I do, very much, but somehow I’m always afraid it won’t turn out the way I expected. I have had some bad experiences with pork recipes, and I wouldn’t want to spend my money on something that will turn out as so-so.

I hesitated for a long time when I found this recipe in my archives. At first I was about to skip it because I thought it could only be cooked in the grill (don’t know about you but I don’t feel like going out to BBQ in the snow). But when I realized this could be made in the oven, I had to give it a go. And I must say, I certainly wasn’t disappointed!

Enjoy a Delightful Dinner Without a Massive Clean-Up!

Did Christmas eat a hole through your pocket? If you’re anything like me, you probably spent way too much money on presents, good food and excellent wine.

Which was lovely, but now it’s going to take until March to get things back the way they used to be. For me that means trying to find ways to get my budget back on track – and most importantly, trying to find ways to fit into my jeans again.

This is a great example of simple, yet delicious meals that can help you out in these kind of situations. This lean meat and potato casserole is such a budget-friendly dish; it’ll only cost you a few bucks to make dinner for your whole family! And let’s not forget about the waistline… Since this casserole is made of low fat ingredients, it’s the perfect meal for anyone who wants to lose a pound or two.

For as long as I can remember, chocolate cake has always been my go-to dessert.

It’s filled with flavor and really hits the spot when you’re craving sweets. Now, if you find yourself craving sweets you should always try to reach for nature’s treats such as apple, oranges, or pears. However, if you’re feeling indulgent, go for this easy-to-make chocolate cake. There is a reason they call it “chocolate craving cake.” It really hits the spot and it doesn’t take you hours upon hours to make!

I love the fact that I don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen making this yummy dessert. I also like that I don’t need to use a boxed mix. Who really knows what is in a boxed cake mix anyway? There could be any number of chemicals and toxins laced in there! I prefer making things from scratch as much as I can. How about you? Are you an avid from-scratch cake maker?

My mouth is watering just looking at this pie!

I love fresh fruit pies, especially strawberry rhubarb. This pie combines the delicious tastes of those amazing fruits with a twist: custard! How yummy does that sound? Now, we are currently neck deep in the throws of winter but that doesn’t stop my heart from longing for spring. I may not have any garden-fresh berries or rhubarb growing in the backyard but I do have a grocery store.

I decided to make this pie with fruit from the market and it turned out pretty amazing. I hope you’ll give this yummy pie a shot and surprise your friends and family with it.

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, Borden evaporated milk, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, Eggland’s eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, Libby’s solid pack pumpkin, McCormick ground cinnamon, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped cream, whipped topping

Pumpkins are versatile vegetable-fruit. I think it’s the reason why there was once a debate if it’s really a fruit or a vegetable. They can be made into soup (creamy pumpkin soup is the best!). They can be made into vegetable stew (they taste good with okra and coconut milk). They can be made into cakes. And they can be made into pies. Its texture makes it one of the best main ingredients for pies. It easily blends well with other ingredients, creating a soft and creamy mixture.

I used to hate pumpkins when I was a kid, but not because of its taste. I used to be quite affected by the Halloween pumpkin stories that I couldn’t look at them as food. Of course, when I grew up and realized that pumpkin faces were simply carved and they’re not really heads of dead people, I appreciated pumpkins more. I have to say though that pies are my favorite type of pumpkin dishes. The natural sweetness of the pumpkin and the additional flavors just make pumpkin pies irresistible. I usually eat a pumpkin pie with a bit of whipped cream on top. It’s one creamy taste after another and I have no regrets.

My mom’s breakfasts are better than your moms.

Who here loves to wake up in the morning to a wholesome and hearty breakfast? I know that I certainly do! I can recall as a young girl my mother making us a full spread breakfast every Saturday morning. We had waffles or pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. Boy, was it ever filling and good. perfect fuel for kids who are rearing to go on adventures all day.

My mother would quite often make breakfast casserole bakes such as this chorizo and egg concoction that totally tasted amazing.

We always looked forward to her chorizo egg bakes!
