One of my husband’s favorite meals is a good old, classic sloppy Joe. I’m not sure if it’s because of the actual taste or the fact that he can be dirty and messy and it’s perfectly allowed. Either way, we have these a lot around here. It’s tasty, filling and let’s be honest, comfort food. I love how simple this meal is. I mean, for a casserole, there really aren’t too many ingredients. You just add everything to your baking dish and there you have it.
You know what’s even better than a yummy sloppy Joe? A sloppy Joe casserole. It keeps the mess contained on a plate and eaten with a fork. My husband would definitely beg to differ as he prefers the mess, but I like this. Everything cleanly contained while not sacrificing on the flavor. I think that my kids request Sloppy Joe casserole more often than any other meal. it’s tasty, it’s filling, and it’s seriously not sloppy lol! It’s a win-win situation.
